Quebec
La provincia de Quebec (en francés y oficialmente: Québec) es territorialmente la provincia más grande de Canadá y cuenta con una población que supera los 8 millones de habitantes. Por su idioma, su cultura y sus instituciones, forma una “nación dentro de Canadá”. La capital provincial es la ciudad de Quebec y la urbe más poblada es Montreal.
A diferencia de las demás provincias, Quebec tiene como única lengua oficial el francés, y es la única región mayoritariamente francófona de Norteamérica.
Siena, Italia
Situada en la zona centro-norte de la región, la provincia de Siena se extiende a través los territorios más famosos y fascinantes de Toscana, como son las colinas meridionales del Chianti, Val d’Elsa y Val di Merse, Val dell’Arbia y Val d’Orcia, hasta las faldas del Monte Amianta.

En 2001, la Unesco declaró el “Centro histórico de Viena” como un lugar Patrimonio de la Humanidad, destacando en primer lugar que sus cualidades arquitectónicas y urbanas representan un testimonio sobresaliente de un continuo intercambio de valores a lo largo del II milenio. Además, su herencia arquitectónica y urbana ilustra muy bien tres períodos claves del desarrollo político y cultural de Europa: la Edad Media, el período barroco y el Gründerzeit. Finalmente, desde el siglo XVI Viena ha sido universalmente reconocida como la “capital musical de Europa”.
San Sebastián, España
Su paisaje, dominado por la bahía de La Concha, así como su desarrollo arquitectónico moderno iniciado en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, que configuró una ciudad de corte francés y aburguesado, propiciaron el desarrollo de la actividad turística a escala europea. Todo ello, unido a eventos internacionales como el Festival Internacional de Cine de San Sebastián, ha dado proyección exterior a la ciudad, a pesar de sus pequeñas dimensiones. San Sebastián será Capital Europea de la Cultura en 2016 junto con Breslavia.

Charleston recibe anualmente el Spoleto Festival USA, un festival de 17 días que ofrece sobre 100 performances por artistas individuales en una gran variedad de disciplinas. Charleston “other festival”Festival de arte MOJA, una celebración de dos semanas de arte, música y cultura afroamericanas y del Caribe. Además, se celebra la Southeastern Wildlife una exposición de fauna, así como el festival de comida y vino de Charleston.

A esta hermosa ciudad la conforman 223 museos y galerías que presentan no sólo exposiciones y arte húngaro, sino también arte y ciencia de la cultura universal y europea. Entre los más importantes que se encuentran en la ciudad destacan el Museo Nacional de Hungría, la Galería Nacional Húngara, el Museo de Bellas Artes, el Museo Histórico de Budapest, el Parque Memento y el Museo de Artes Aplicadas.
En Budapest hay cuarenta teatros, siete salas de conciertos y un teatro de la ópera. También se celebran a menudo en edificios históricos festivales al aire libre, conciertos y conferencias que enriquecen la oferta cultural del verano.

Su centro histórico fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad en 1982, y en él destacan obras medievales y renacentistas como la cúpula de Santa María del Fiore, el Ponte Vecchio, la Basílica de Santa Cruz, el Palazzo Vecchio y museos como los Uffizi, el Bargello o la Galería de la Academia, que acoge al David de Miguel Ángel.

El número uno lo ocupa el pueblo mágico ubicado en el estado de Guanajuato, México. El 7 de julio de 2008 fue inscrita por la Unesco en el Patrimonio cultural de la Humanidad. Bajo el título de Villa Protectora de San Miguel el Grande y Santuario de Jesús Nazareno de Atotonilco, la distinción se otorgó debido a su aporte cultural y arquitectónico al Barroco mexicano y a su importancia en la lucha de Independencia de México de España.
Algo que caracteriza a San Miguel de Allende son su ricas tradiciones. Éstas las rescata en los eventos y fiestas religiosas, festividades que juegan un papel importante en el desarrollo turístico de la pequeña comunidad. San Miguel es un pueblo lleno de magia y misticismo que conserva tradiciones antiguas y que en ningún otro lugar del mundo ocurren. Es un lugar lleno de cultura y arte sirve de escenario para las diferentes tradiciones y costumbres que ocurren en todo el territorio nacional.
